Dale Crider's creative work EVERGLADES
AWARENESS contains not only his original music, but
recordings of the Florida panther and other endangered wildlife,
commentaries from author Marjory Stoneman Douglas and noted
Everglades biologist Art Marshall about this vast water wilderness.
The work is dedicated to Douglass and Marshall for their
efforts to protect the Everglades' ecosystem. Environmentalist
Marjorie carr and U.S. Senator Bob Graham, originator
of the "Save our Everglades" program, also give personal
views of this unique part of Florida.
Voices of a Florida panther, red-shouldered hawk, pileated
woodpecker, anhinga, barred own and other wildlife calls
enhance the songs and sounds on this 62 minute tape.
Although designed for visitors motoring across south
Florida on either I-75 or Alligator Alley, this tape
is both entertaining and informative for anyone, whether
crossing state or simply wanting to close their eyes
and be transported to the "River of Grass."
